Join this 4 hour educational workshop for individuals identifying as women or assigned female at birth centered on exploring and challenging the impact artistic narratives have on female sexuality. Looking at famous artwork, you’ll walk with Meg to learn how art is used to create/sustain narratives about female sexuality and explore the connection these have to your relationship with your sexual self.
In this 4 hour workshop, learn the tools to:
- Examine visual media using art historical analysis
- Challenge harmful narratives about female sexuality using a deconstructive approach
- Embrace freedom from limiting sexual narratives
Meg is a licensed therapist, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and art history lover who is passionate about helping others find sexual liberation through deconstruction. This event is Queer and Trans inclusive, recognizing the constructed nature of gender within society. If you identify as a woman or have experienced the negative impact of harmful views of female sexuality in your life, this event is a safe place for you.
