Anniversary Celebration
The celebration continues with an evening hosted by the Barking Legs Staff, Board of Directors and local artists. Open to anyone interested in learning more about the organization, the gathering offers a chance to connect with the people helping shape its future, explore opportunities for involvement, and discover what makes Barking Legs such an important part of
Chattanooga's creative landscape.
The Next 34 Years Start Here
Since 1993, Barking Legs Theater has championed contemporary performing arts, supported emerging and established artists, and created space for performances that challenge expectations and spark conversation.
For 34 years, Barking Legs has been a place where creativity takes risks, artists find their voices, and our community comes together. We want everyone to feel like they have a place here. Our new $5 membership is about more than supporting a theater. It's about being part of something that makes Chattanooga a little more interesting, a little more connected, and a lot more creative”, says Ann Law, Executive Director and Founder of Barking Legs Theater.
Operated by Contemporary Performing Arts of Chattanooga (CoPAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Barking Legs continues its mission to cultivate diverse artists, presenters, and audiences in an inclusive and creative environment.
As the theater celebrates 34 years, its message to Chattanooga is simple:
The arts don't happen without a community behind them. Come be part of ours.
Community members are encouraged to explore the new membership program, attend the anniversary celebrations, and help keep Barking Legs kicking for generations to come.
