What Makes Pilates at Barking Legs Unique?
Barking Legs Theater houses the first professional Pilates studio
in the Chattanooga area. Most area instructors started their training with us, because we were the first to introduce Pilates to Chattanooga many years ago, thanks to our innovative founder, Ann Law!
Located in a beautifully restored Victorian, our comprehensive facility includes
a mat area and apparatus studio complete with Joseph Pilates'
original equipment designs. All sessions are conducted by
certified instructors.Our instructors are obsessively dedicated to upgrading their Pilates education, and incorporate such on-going developments and knowledge such as Stott Pilates and Meridian Stretching into their classes. Our dedicated students continue to grow as our instructors continue to grow!
Furthermore, be aware that gyms, dance studios or fitness instructors will use the word "pilates","pilates-based" or even "core conditioning" as a catch phrase, but are not actually trained professionally in authentic Pilates certification training programs, nor do they specialize in this life-long movement discipline.
