Class Descriptions:
Pilates Fundamentals/Intro Sessions is for individuals with no prior experience with the Pilates method. 4-Class Session introduces your core, proper alignment and Pilates principles. Start here, then move confidently into the Beginning classes! Proper matwork technique is the foundation of Joseph Pilates’ work. This introductory series needs to be completed first before taking any other Pilates classes, even if you have done Pilates videos at home....there is no substitute for the hands-on expertise of a certified and experienced Pilates Instructor.
The Beginner Mat & Tower Class introduces the student to the fundamentals of Pilates technique with special focus on alignment, breathing, and deepening of the powerhouse.

The experienced beginner may move to the Intermediate Pilates level where flow is emphasized with advanced exercises and the wall unit apparatus is introduced. Specialized equipment such as the Spine Corrector and the Wunda Chair is utilized!
Full Figured Pilates is especially designed to introduce students 20lbs or more overweight to the slimming power of Pilates. The goal is to build strength and indurance at an achievable pace.
